Lap-Band Program
The Lap-Band is a tool designed to help achieve sustained weight loss. It is the least invasive surgical method currently available to help you achieve weight loss and works by reducing the amount of food your stomach can hold. The Lap-Band Program may be an appropriate weight loss solution if you have a BMI of 30 or more.
Gastric Balloon Program
The Gastric Balloon is a non-surgical, non-pharmaceutical, weight loss aid that is inserted into the stomach to help create a feeling of fullness and encourages portion control. The Gastric Balloon Program has proven results for a weight loss jump-start and may be an ideal solution if you are looking to lose less than 100lbs for health and aesthetic reasons.
The Lap-Band and Gastric-Balloon Programs may be appropriate for patients who are over the age of 18 with a BMI of 27 or above. You will be assessed by one of our surgeons who will evaluate your candidacy for one of the programs based on your BMI and medical history. During your free consultation with a surgeon, we recommend that you discuss your weight and health history to determine which program is right for you.
