Gastric Band Procedure

Patient Eligibility

To be considered for the Gastric Band procedure, patients must meet the following criteria:

BMI ≥ 30
Age > 14
Absence of major health problems that would prevent safe general anaesthesia
Commitment and the ability to understand the changes necessary to make the Gastric Band procedure successful
