We are pleased to announce the 2nd Annual Symposium hosted by the Surgical Weight Loss Centre on Saturday, May 30th, 2009 at the Delta Meadowvale Resort and Conference Centre in Mississauga. The Symposium is a one day educational event that includes an exciting line-up of inspirational speeches from professionals in our field. Among our line-up of guest speakers include Dr. Christopher Cobourn, surgeon and medical director of SWLC; Dr. Frank Lista, facility director of SWLC and medical director & founder of the Plastic Surgery Clinic; Dr. David Mumford, surgeon; Dr. Monica Ganz, founder & president of MG consulting; and Dr. Jacqueline Jacques, naturopathic doctor in medical nutrition.

All SWLC patients are entitled to attend one Symposium at no charge. There will be a $75 registration fee for any patient that attended last year’s Symposium and a $125 for all other guests. Breakfast, lunch, cocktail reception and door prizes will be included. If you wish to attend the event, please fill out the registration form available in the Contact Us section of our website. We have reserved rooms at the Delta Meadowvale Resort and Conference Centre at a corporate rate of $109 per night for all attendees. Please ask for the SWLC corporate rate when making hotel reservations. Patients and guests will be responsible for their own hotel and parking costs. The 2008 Symposium last April was attended by over 200 people and we are optimistic that this year’s Symposium will attract an even larger group of patients and guests. Please register early if you plan to join us. See you at the Symposium!
